Time To Go Home

Time To Go Home is a series evolved from Years Into Isolation, a photograph I made in August 2022. In some of my photography and paintings of late, I've been reflecting on the years of separation from one another through this time of COVID and how it has impacted me as an introverted person. Like many others who consider themselves introverted, I initially thought I was well suited to cope with the realities of social distancing and isolation but as time wore on, I began to see how much I do need people and interactions; if for no other reason than to avoid diving into the deepest and least healthy tendencies of self exile.
Time To Go Home represents a return to something resembling a life. A call answered. A beginning. 2022.
