By The Water

This is a series of photos taken at The Mayfield House in Austin, Texas. There is legend that the water lily was once a star that, when it fell to the earth and struck water, became a flower. It's a beautiful reminder that sometimes even in periods of great struggle and upheaval, we can emerge transformed and somehow more beautiful than we were before. 2022
